I’m willing to do anything to show you that I need you in my life. That you’re important to someone. That you matter. All you have to do is say yes. Just one simple word. Don’t push me away because you’re getting attached just like I am. You’re not alone. I know the timing of our meeting wasn’t ideal. It was a fast, whirlwind, and adventurous couple of first dates. I didn’t expect to fall for you like I did and you didn’t mean to fall for me either, but I know you did. It happened. Now, I’m here and you’re there. Back to our respective daily toil and grind, and the pause button released. But something’s changed. I eat my meals wishing you were sharing them with me. I walk wishing you were holding my hand. I fall asleep wishing my arms were around you. When all the other pretty girls smile my way, I can only manage the faintest smile back and turn away. Nothing is the same anymore and it’s because you came into my life and rewrote the rules. You showed me again that sharing your life with someone is better than going it alone. 

So you tell me what it is I need to do to be a part of your life. Ask anything of me and I’ll do it. Let me make you happy. There isn’t anything I want more than that. Because when you’re happy, I’m happy. People that make each other happy should be together. You and I should be together. What we could make would be so beautiful. Just take that leap and trust that I’ll catch you.
